Sky Loop on TV

Members of the Sky Loop Committee make their on-screen debut in early June as they build support for the Sky Loop. On June 8, 2000, at 10:00 a.m., Chip Tappan, Bob Brodbeck and Bill Scheyer, all members of the Sky Loop Steering Committee will be interviewed live on Insight Communication's Northern Kentucky Magazine.

This popular cable television show, hosted by local broadcast veteran Dick Von Hoene, will delve into the Sky Loop proposal. Chip, Bob and Bill will start the discussion with the general concepts of the Sky Loop and Personal Rapid Transit (PRT). Then they will move to more specific topics like "Why do we need the Sky Loop?" and "How does the Sky Loop relate to the proposed light rail system?". Next, the team will explore the "Regional nature of the Sky Loop" and "Where we are in relation to creating the Sky Loop".

The Northern Kentucky Magazine show is broadcast on Insight Communications channel 6 in Northern Kentucky. The show airs live at 10:00 a.m. with repeat videotape broadcasts at 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
